If Americans voted based on their social networking preferences rather than political leanings, Mitt Romney would win the 2012 election in a landslide.

Graph Effect looked at both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama's interestes on their "about me" pages on Facebook in terms of activities, music, books, film and television. They then compared that to data from each state and finds that Romney thumps Obama overall. The fascinating infographic is below, and a larger version can be found here.
