"Washington politicians have been reckless with our money and with our future. We need leaders who will take our values, Utah values, to Washington. I took a city that was on the brink of bankruptcy and led it to firm financial ground. I'm proud of my record as Mayor. When times got tough, we slashed spending. We made tough cuts. We balanced our budget. Isn't it time Washington did the same?"
