It is time, once again, to make our annual report to the community. As we contemplate the successes of the past year, it is more than awe-inspiring to consider the many individuals and groups within our community that devote their time, talents and resources to help propel us toward our community’s goals, which is to create lasting, permanent changes in people’s lives so that problems are prevented from happening in the first place.

We are deeply appreciative to all who have caught the vision of our community action plan. Creating long-lasting social change requires everyone in the community working together. Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 4, 2008 for United Way's 16th Annual Day of Caring, beginning with a kick-off breakfast at The Gateway from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Following the breakfast, service projects will take place throughout the Salt Lake area.
