A new USA Today analysis has found that the number of federal workers earning six figures or more a year has doubled since Pres. Obama took office. In response, Rep. Jason Chaffetz says he wants to freeze federal pay and ultimately would favor a 10% pay cut.
"It's stunning when you see what's happened to federal compensation," [Chaffetz] says. "Every metric shows we're heading in the wrong direction."
