Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox joins Managing Editor Bryan Schott to discuss the end of the lawsuit over the state’s dual-path nomination system and cybersecurity and the 2020 election.
Cox is widely expected to run for governor in 2020. If that happens, he says he plans to run a positive campaign because he was disgusted by the negative tone in the Mia Love/Ben McAdams race last year.
Cox also discusses the effort by the Legislature to replace Prop. 3 with a scaled-back version of Medicaid expansion, and why he feels that was the fiscally responsible move for lawmakers.
Plus we get Cox’s thoughts on the Utah Jazz.
