Former Utah Rep. Derek Brown is running for chairman of the Utah Republican Party.
Brown says the Utah GOP is at a crossroads. He discusses his plan for unifying the warring factions of the party which has been sharply divided since Utah implemented the dual-path nomination system in 2014.
He also talks about his worry that the party is losing its relevance in the age of single-issue political groups.
Brown speaks with Managing Editor Bryan Schott.
