Democrat McAdams has more campaign cash than Republican Love

Democratic 4th district congressional candidate Ben McAdams reports having more campaign money available than his Republican opponent, Mia Love.

Love has raised more money in total than McAdams but has spent a lot more as well. According to the July quarterly financial disclosures, Love has $1.233 million in the bank, while McAdams has nearly $1.25 million available.

Love nearly doubled McAdams’s campaign cash haul during the most recent quarter, pulling in close to $1.1 million while McAdams raised just over $658,000.

Recent polling shows Love has a slim 4-point lead over McAdams in a district that is rated the 91st “most Republican” in the nation by the Cook Political Report.

President Trump barely won the 4th CD in 2016 over Hillary Clinton by just 7-percentage points. However, Mitt Romney carried the district in 2012 over Barack Obama by 37-points.
